A goddess is a female deity. In mythology goddesses are associated with magic, war, strategy, hunting, farming spinning, weaving, wisdom, fate, earth, sky, power, laws, justice, beauty, love, sexuality and fertility. Like a goddess, this yarn is both soft and strong with a splash of sparkle.

The extrafine merino wool makes this yarn luxuriously soft and bouncy for next to skin comfort. A little nylon is added for extra durabilty and 10% silver stellina for lots of sparkle.
The main factor determining the quality of merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. We use extrafine merino (19.5 microns) which is some of the finest commercially available for hand dyers. This results in a supersoft yarn that feels gentle against the skin
This yarn is so versatile and can be used for any next to skin project (scarves, jumpers etc) as well as items where a little more durability is required such ' as socks and gloves.

Composition: 75% Superwash Extrafine Merino (19.5 microns) 15% Nylon 10% Silver Stellina Yarn

Meterage: Approx. 400m (437 yards) per 100gm hank

Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm (US 1.5 - 6) needle and C-G hook
Gauge (stocking stitch): 28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches on 3.25mm (US 3) needles

Care Instructions:
Hand wash using a wool detergent, ideally below 30°C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat out of direct sunlight, do not spin or tumble dry.
